Software Developer – USA

Thoughtline Technologies Inc. is looking for Software Developer to work at 916 Windstone Court, Lake in the Hills, IL 60156 to perform the following job duties:

Major responsibilities will include:

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; Investigating problems areas; following the software development life cycle.
• Development of new programs, analyze legacy programs and process.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Developing new programs in OutSystems.
• Prepare the user interface wireframes, prototypes, designs and UAT (User Acceptance Test) co-ordination.
• Migrating of legacy applications and Providing support.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
• Communicate with project teams, offshore teams and client personnel and analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.
• Support for Production issues, Integration testing of applications, Incident supports and resolving applications.
• Maintaining data bases and systems.
• Testing the product in controlled, real situations before being released.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors or Foreign Equivalent Degree in in Computer and Information Technology or related (such as Engineering) and Two (2) Years of Experience as a Software Developer or other related occupation.

•  Must have experience in ASP.NET, C#, C, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Oracle, Win-XP/2000/7, Ubuntu
• Must have experience in the fleet management domain & experience in Outsystems
•  Employer will accept a foreign education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree as determined by a qualified credential evaluation service.
